I am saying this with utmost confidence that KW Cafe is probably one of my top favorite restaurants within an hour drive of me. I'm not close to this location, but I'm willing to make the drive any day and my friends even made it a monthly tradition to dine here because it is THAT good. I've included a few highlights down below that you should definitely try, even though everything is generally tasty and flavorful! Menu Recommendations: * Chinese Style Filet Mignon: The sauce is MEGA addicting & the filet mignon is so tender. I always order this dish at the restaurant AND to-go because it's that good. * Wonton Noodle Soup: You know how you shouldn't take noodle soups to-go? I always order this to-go and it is still super delicious!!! Best wonton noodle soup I've had. * Ground Pork Rice Rolls: Their rice rolls are super fresh and I haven't had a place make them better! * Beef Stew Noodle Soup: Beef stew is tender, soup is flavorful, noodles are delicious. Can't go wrong with this! * Salt & Pepper Porkchop: Fried to perfection, has an amazing crunch, and the meat is tender. Love!!! (I do not recommend the spicy cucumbers appetizer, as it was bit too spicy and offputting to my party) I have multiple friends who rave about KW Cafe so I know for a fact that this cafe is worth dining at and I'm happy to eat here any day! Worth every penny.

My friend and I were craving some Cantonese food, so we drove to Rowland heights to stop by KW cafe. I got the mala spicy beef under the casseroles section which was delicious, the spice was mild for me and the beef was tender. My friend got the eggplant and short ribs which also looked amazing. There is a lot of seating and the service was great. I'd love to come by again sometime!

We keep trying all the hk cafes in sgv, but never tried any closer to our home until recently. Boy, are we glad that we tried this place! It's definitely one of our new favorite hk cafes! We ordered their fries, seafood crispy chow mein, fried vermicelli noodles, baked chicken, and lastly the bbq pork, roast duck and roast pork over rice combo. All our dishes were well seasoned and flavorful. The seafood chow mein was crispy and came with a generous amount of seafood too. I ordered this dish at many other cafes before, and theirs is probably one of my favorites because it wasn't too soggy and was packed with flavor. The fries were well seasoned and crispy too. I personally didn't try the bbq pork combo dish, but everyone else loved it. My friend who ordered it said that it was one of the top 3 best bbq chinese dishes he had so far in California! We also ordered their hot hk milk tea as well. The tea wasn't the best hk milk tea I had from a cafe, but it's okay. I think the food was better than the tea, so I would come back again just for food. I also love how generous the portions are here, especially for the noodles!

There are plenty of parking spaces. We ordered the fish fillet porridge, fried rice, green beans, salt & pepper pork chops, beef rice roll, and ground pork rice roll. Everything was so good, but my favorites were the salt & pepper pork chops and beef rice rolls. The fish fillet porridge didn't have enough flavor, so you should add more salt to it. The green beans and salt & pork chops were well seasoned and delicious. The beef rice roll and ground pork rice rolls were yummy as well. Recommendation(s): - Beef Rice Rolls - Ground Pork Rice Rolls - Salt & Pepper Porkchops - Green beans Service: 5/5 Tip(s): - Plenty of parking spaces - Restrooms available

This is my family's go-to Hong Kong-style cafe! We've celebrated multiple occasions here, from Lunar New Year to birthdays to Mother's Day - you name it. The interior is modern and clean, giving it a more upscale feel than your average HK cafe. We've always visited at night for dinner, so I can't speak to their breakfast and lunch menu. For dinner, we always order multiple dishes to share family-style. Some of our favorites include: + crab meat & fish maw soup + free range chicken + roasted suckling pig + diced string beans w/ minced meat & veggie + deep fried pork chop in honey sauce + tofu with double mushroom Oh, and you can't forget the lemon iced tea! It's unlimited refills, so drink up! Just keep in mind there's a small charge for a to-go cup. On weekends and during holidays, they can get quite busy and have long wait times. The staff are very quick and efficient. At times, it might be a bit hard to get their attention, but just keep waving your hand, and they'll come right over.

I love this place so much that today I had lunch here with friends and then dinner here with my hubby. For lunch, we ordered: roast duck (half order was surprisingly a generous portion) - unlike other restaurants, this was meaty and not greasy Beef chow fun - flat rice noodles were so flavorful and the beef slices were tender and tasty Honey walnut shrimp - shrimp pieces were large and delicious but serving was not too big Chinese broccoli minus the dried fish - very fresh, soft and crispy at the same time. Even if we requested it without the fish, they still charged us full price Hot and sour soup - perfect blend of spicy and sour. It was priced $15.99 when most restaurants charge $10-11 but it was a more generous portion. My two friends ordered tea and two bowls of rice. For a party of three and a 15% tip, our bill came to around $112. We had plenty of take home. For dinner, we ordered beef chow fun (again!) and roast pork. We arrived at 8:30 pm and since they close at 9:00 pm, we could not order anymore food (the kitchen was closing). Anyway, our bill came to about $45 including tip. Man, we wiped off our plates - no leftovers. Roast pork was okay, similar to Filipino lechon kawali but this one has thinner slices and the skin was not as crispy as the lechon. I prefer the lechon so I will pass on this next time. Service was better this time than our very first visit.

Stopped by for to go order. I only saw the front and didn't get a chance to look inside much as it was super busy and the lobby was full of people waiting for a table. All the food we ordered were great. The flavors were all on point. The menu is hk cafe but also has a lot of dishes at a restaurant. I'm excited they opened this new place. I can't wait to go back and try more dishes.

I love finding Hong Kong style cafes -- the food, traditional HK style milk tea ... so so nostalgic. I'm Cantonese myself & sometimes it's a hit of fresh air eating at a restaurant to see how different restaurants cook dishes my mom makes at home! My boyfriend and I ordered 2 dishes & 2 drinks. I ordered the cream of seafood & my boyfriend ordered the sweet and sour pork. The sweet and sour pork was my favorite -- the pork was crispy & it paired so nicely with the veggies and the sauce. The cream of seafood was yummy too but I kinda wish I opted for another soup because I felt like the portion was a little small. We also ordered 2 Hong Kong style milk teas and I was pretty shocked we were allowed to get free refills. They were also not too sweet which was perfection. SO worth it! :D I'd definitely come back & try their other dishes. This place is a family style type of restaurant (I don't mind this I lovvv sharing). Service was super friendly but we did have to flag workers to help us out from time to time. This is a great HK style cafe near my boyfriend's place -- will be back very soon!

KW Cafe is a great place to eat Cantonese food with friends or family. The dishes are meant to be eaten family style. Iced Hong Kong Milk Tea (4/5) - The milk tea was on the sweet side and the order comes with one free refill. 1/2 Steamed Chicken w/ Ginger scallion sauce (5/5) - KW Cafe has a great deal if you buy 1/2 a chicken you get another half chicken free. The chicken is very tender and juicy. The sauce was a great addition to the chicken. Honey Walnut Shrimp (5/5) - Perfectly cooked shrimp covered in a creamy honey sauce. Chinese Broccoli (Gai Lan) w/ Dried Fish (4/5) - well cooked gai lan with ginger and dried fished Salt & Pepper Pork Chop (4/5) - great salt and pepper flavor on the pork chops. Some pieces had more breading than pork. The restaurant is busy but staff are easy to flag down with requests for refills or the check.
